don't come to me for style

i need a haircut. i've been surfing for ideas. here's what one website advises:

HEART shape! has wide cheekbones and broad forehead tapering down into a small sometimes pointed chin. Hair styles needs to balance a narrow chin and wide brow by increasing width around the chin.

Avoid any style with a middle parting or a very short fringe.

ahem... ignore middle parting in photo directly left. and this would be a bad time to confess i'm seriously considering a fringe again. am i so out of the style game or what...?!
